What is a Life Coach?
I work as a Coaching Psychologist in Dublin. Coaching Psychology is the application of science to life, to increase work performance and well-being for individuals, groups and organisations. It is not therapy. Life coaching is for those individuals who do not have high levels of distress.
Life Coaching for individuals
Life Coaching for individuals helps you achieve personal goals. Together, we will use various methods to identify goals in differing areas of your life, for example
- personal goals
- relationship goals
- work related goals
- health and well-being goals
- financial goals
Strategies and action plans are then jointly drawn up to assist you in meeting and being responsible for attaining your objectives.
Life Coaching for health
Life Coaching for health involves a behavioural shift in managing your health. It may be that you have a chronic condition and coaching is used to assist you in identifying behavioural changes necessary to manage your condition. We work together to identify areas that need developing and health behaviours that need changing in order for you to optimise your well-being.
Coaching for business
Coaching for business focuses on specific work related performance. We identify and define goals to enable you to maximise your work life. These often include
- leadership
- team working
- goal setting
- effective communication
- planning and time management
