Panic Attacks feel like they come out of the blue and can have a devastating impact on your life. They are however, highly treatable.

Symptoms of Panic Attacks

  • difficulty breathing
  • sweating
  • shaking
  • feeling like something has stuck in your throat
  • difficulty swallowing
  • terror
  • feeling like you are about to die
  • heart palpitations
  • chest pain
  • chest tightness
  • blanching – your face loses it’s colour and turns white
  • trembling
  • feelings like zaps of electricity are running through your body
  • smothering sensations
  • feeling like you cannot get enough air into your lungs
The symptoms are harmless and cannot hurt you.

People who experience panic attacks are at risk of developing panic disorder.  You do not have to live with these attacks, as they are can be treated.

Panic Attack Treatment
