for the majority of men, stress is the cause and science gives the answers
For most men under the age of 50, having problems with your erection, falls largely under my remit; psychological.
Relax, that doesn’t mean that you have major problems, but in order to fix anything, you first have to understand the cause.
Before I go on, you are probably aware, if you have been googling, that there are medical conditions that can cause problems with your penis. I always advice men to check for medical causality, especially if you are over the age of 50.
If you have been given a clean bill of hill, that is good news for you, as I can help you with the psychological
Reasons to be cheerful

You know you’re okay if
1. You wake with an erection
2. You are able to masterbate sometimes
3. You have an erections during your sleep
You don’t have a problem, getting an erection per se
1 and 3 only happen every day if you are 13!
Your thoughts are a very powerful drug.
How many times have you been able to get aroused by your thought processes?
Just thinking about sex, can cause a feeling. If you recognise that, you will have a little peek into how much power your thoughts have over your physiology.
It’s not all about the thoughts though.
I am going to give you a scenario, to let you see how your body works.
Lets say you were working a bit too hard, burning the candle at both ends. You will be fine for a while, as your body is well up for it, as it has a good bit of reserve.

If you are working too hard, worrying too much, your battery starts to get depleted. If you are not able to stop and recharge, your system starts to get into trouble.
You have probably seen what happens to your body when it gets stressed, if you watch any of those survival programs. Under very harsh conditions, your body starts something akin to an SOS, to keep you alive.
I don’t need to go into the details here, but what you need to know is that under extreme stress, blood gets diverted away from unnecessary organs to the vital organs to keep you alive.
Now as much as you may believe that your penis is a necessary organ, in this instance, it is not 🙂
Under stress, blood flow is diverted away from your penis, and you have no chance of getting an erection, never mind maintaining one.
You have no control whatsoever over this response, it is your brains way of ensuring you are okay, by not allowing you to override this mechanism.
I am working on the assumption that you personally are not experiencing such extreme conditions as those detailed on survival programs. If you are, then I can do nothing for you!
Getting help
If you are leading a relatively normal life, have no medical reason for erectile dysfunction, then I can help you.

How?
Your body is responding in an exagerated way, giving you a similar experience, when it is not necessary.
This can be due to a host of reasons, which is my job to unravel for you. It can be something as simple as working yourself so much that, running on empty eventually lead to burnout. This can be one cause.
It could have been a comment that you received at some stage during sex, that affected how you feel about yourself.
All of those above reasons, can be matched up in your brain as a dangerous event, resulting in a stress response when you do not need it; such as when you want to have sex.
Your thoughts can make it worse and you may worry about it.
Say you thought you were going to have sex this weekend. You might be worried “What if I can’t get it up” “What if I come too soon?” “What if I can’t keep my erection”
Although you don’t mean to, you are in fact, priming your brain for this to happen.
Where to start?
1 Ruling out organic reasons
2 Getting me to unravel what is behind your own specific problem and coming up with a plan to address this.
I recommend an online appointment as these are available immediately
You can use Skype of Facetime, with or without video, whatever works best for you.
